World Record DOH

Grease lightning Justin Gatlin did not set the new World 100-meter record last weekend as first reported. Due to a timing error it has now been established that he tied the 9.77 second record set by Jamaican Asafa Powell. I think it’s absolutely hysterical they figured this out basically four days later. Isn’t this based on people running from one line to the next and a digital clock…geesh!!! It won’t be long though and this speed battle could be settled. Gatlin and Powell face next in the Prefontaine Classic on May 28th and again in a huge dollar event at the Norwich British Union Grand Prix on June 11th. I only ask we get some proper watches and timekeepers for these events. Thanks!
