It has been almost two years since stud closer Troy Percival has pitched in the big leagues, but now he is back. He left the Detroit Tigers and MLB after continued soreness in his right shoulder. Troy is now 37 years old, but St. Louis is willing to see if he can help their underperforming bullpen. Percival is currently 12 on the all-time saves list and might have a c, hance to move up the ladder.

Benoit reportedly strangled his wife, smothered his son and then hung himself in his weight room at his homestead. This new reality show hits ABC TV tomorrow night at 9:00 PM EST. The Diesel will be shaping up six obese kids. I find this to be a bit of an oxymoron since Shaq has been questioned many times on his physical regimen, but hey what do I know. I can’t see this show flourishing in the least bit and when it’s all said and done it could be another Kazaam tragedy. I shouldn’t be so cynical because at least it’s for a good cause.
Big Shot Billups Pulls the Plug

Chauncey Billups has opted out of his contract with the Detroit Pistons and will become an unrestricted free agent on July 1st. Last year ‘Big Ben’ Wallace left Motown for Chicago and greener pastures (pun intended). I will go ahead and pronounce this is the beginning of the end for Detroit if they can’t retain Billups. Joe Dumars and Flip Saunders better be doing all they can to keep Chauncey in the fold.

It seems only weeks ago you were talking about how your jail stint changed your life and you had plans of becoming NFL Man of the Year. Well, it won’t be happening with the Chicago Bears because they kicked your a$$ to the curb today. A possible DUI arrest in Arizona at 3:30 in the morning was the reason and I’m glad to see they are sticking to their guns. The Bears stuck with you through thick and thin and they were clear on a zero tolerance policy and you took a piss on that policy. My only question now is how long is it until you end up with the Oakland Raiders???

Famous wrestler Chris “The Crippler” Benoit along with his wife and son were found dead today in their new residence in Georgia. At this time there are no further details on the cause of the deaths. Tonight’s WWE Raw was supposed to be a three hour memorial for supposedly deceased Vince McMahon, but tonight Vince made a speech in honor of Chris Benoit. This is truly sad news and as more details come about we will let you know.

Sammy Sosa hit his 600th career home run last night against his old team the Chicago Cubs. Sosa now playing with the Texas Rangers became the fifth player in history to reach this impressive mark. Hank Aaron, Barry Bonds, Babe Ruth, Willie Mays and now Mr. Sosa. The question is should Sosa be inducted into the Hall of Fame?

News has been released out of Las Vegas from authorities that Pacman Jones will face two felony charges. A strip club melee caused by Pacman “making it rain” occurred over NBA All Star Weekend and resulted in a triple shooting outside the Minxx club. The shootings left a bar employee paralyzed and two others with minor injuries.
Pacman faces two counts of felony coercion stemming from allegation he threatened to kill club employees and bit a bar bouncer on the ankle. This could be the beginning to the end for Mr. Adam Jones.
