There is a new “sideline reporter” for NBC and their Heads Up Poker Championship series. Leann Tweeden has replaced former reporter Shana Hiatt and does so quite well if I say so myself. Check out a couple of these pics and tell me what you think.

Check out this video clip of Corey Brewer making a complete a$$ of himself on a dunk attempt in the last game of the year.

Chad Johnson announced today that he wants to be traded from the Bengals as soon as possible and will not attend any Bengals functions whatsoever. The rumors have swirled for months and Johnson has alluded before he wants to be traded, but today’s statements were quite damning. “I want to make this very clear,” Johnson stated. “I don’t know where he got that. I made no assertion to Carson that I would do that. Nothing has changed from what I’ve been saying for three months that I don’t want to play for the Bengals.” “I want to be traded before the draft, and if that doesn’t happen, I want to be traded as soon as possible,” Johnson said. “I don’t intend on reporting to anything.”
Well well. This is going to be a very interesting offseason for the Bengals.

Today is the one-year anniversary of the horrific campus shootings that occurred at Virginia Tech on April 16th, 2007. Thirty-two people were killed in the shooting spree which is the worst single shooting spree in US history. Please take a moment of silence today in remembrance of the individuals lost and for the families who now only have memories.

Keith “Mississippi” Langston strutted his stuff this past weekend at Orange County Speedway in his first full Purestock race of the year. Langston had some car problems in his initial race of ’08 a few weeks ago, but came back this week in positive fashion by finishing 5th out of 16 racers Saturday evening after starting out 8th. Well done Sippi!

Carmelo Anthony was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving after “swerving” on a local interstate and “failing to dim his lights” this morning around 4 AM in Denver. I suppose he was out celebrating after the Nuggets won last night against Houston pretty much securing the eighth seed in the Western Conference playoffs. I still don’t understand why these millionaires don’t have paid drivers in order to avoid situations like these.

Trevor Immelman won the 73rd annual The Masters today in a convincing manner. Immelman from South Africa led the prestigious major wire-to-wire and won by three strokes over Tiger Woods. Congratulations to Immelman and my heart goes out to CBS because I know they wanted Woods to win the event or at least more competitive.
Check out this video clip of Kobe Bryant jumping completely over a moving Aston Martin. Awesome!
